Step 1 – Prepare:
We recommend that you prepare for our first discussion by collecting some photos and verses that you like. It may be helpful to consult with family members for views and ideas. Also try to have a good idea of how many memorial cards, acknowledgment cards, etc. you will need printed.
Step 2 – Listen:
We start with a conversation to learn about your requirements – we welcome your thoughts and expectations. If there is a particular theme or style of design that is important to you please tell us. In this first step, we confirm everyone’s expectations and the direction of the work.
Step 3 – Look:
We view previously designed memorial cards and photos and reference material you may have. We establish what are your preferences and advise on design considerations such as picture quality and layout. We have an extensive library of stock images and we welcome you to view our verses link for some ideas.
Step 4 – Agree:
Once we have agreed on the specific items you require and print quantities we will prepare specifications and pricing. We request a deposit of 50% of total cost.
Step 5 – Design:
We compile all of the agreed information and prepare designs. We will email you (or print) proofs of all items. If you require design or type amendments we will complete these and prepare final proof. Decisions get made and proofs signed off.
Step 6 – Printing:
We prepare final artwork for our printers who work to the highest quality. Typically memorial cards are printed on 350gsm card and laminated in either Matt or Gloss according to your wishes. Appreciation cards are typically printed on 350gsm card with no lamination.
Step 7 – Delivery:
All items including envelopes are finished and packed for either delivery or collection. Final payment of 50% of total cost is payable upon delivery.
